ABOUT GIRLS IN CODE

Girls In Code team for 2026–2027 at Garden International School

Girls In Code began with a group of girls at Garden International School and a shared aim: to build a stronger female coding community.

We organise coding competitions and hackathons, teach young girls Octobuddy through our GIC CCA, and connect our chapter network. Fundraising and our NGO partnerships are also part of GIC’s work in the community.

WHAT WE DO

01 / OUR COMPETITIONS

The GIC
coding competitions.

Our competitions include beginner, intermediate, and advanced challenges. The archives bring together past questions, results, and event resources.

02 / OUR HACKATHON

The GIC
hackathons.

Our hackathons bring girls together to explore ideas, build creative solutions, and use technology to address real-world problems.
